Graduate School of Business and Administration (GSBA), Greater Noida in association with Sangam Kala Group, New Delhi, invites you to the Noida Chapter Preliminary Round of Surtarang 2011 - a National Level Singing Competition to be held on November 4-5, 2011.
The institute established in 1993 has achieved academic excellence in the area of management. It has been one of the top 50 institutions since its inception and now it has been ranked at position 21st on all India basis by Competition Success Review (CSR).

Apart from imparting management education, the institute is showing its national interest in the development of the talent for music among people within all age groups. For this, the institute has become a Regional Chapter (Noida Chapter) of Sangam Kala Group, New Delhi. Dr. P. L. Maggu, the Executive Director of GSBA is the Regional Coordinator/Director of the Chapter. GSBA has been organizing Surtarang, at National Level Singing Competition for six consecutive years. The event strives to promote music and provide a platform to young and budding singers to nurture them into singing professionals.
Sangam Kala Group is committed to identify talents in the area of music and provides an opportunity to the emerging singers for presenting their talent in music. Sangam Kala Group has already given chance to many people in presenting their talent at the national level and transforming them into singing professionals, to count a few among them are Sonu Nigam, Sunidhi Chauhan, Shreya Ghosal, Kunal Ganjawala and many more.
This year, the event is being organized on 4th & 5th of November, 2011 at GSBA Campus, Block - F, Gate No-5, Sector- Alpha 2, Greater Noida – 201310.
The Preliminary Round winners would be awarded Certificate of Participation along with cash awards. These winners would then be eligible for the State Finals to be held at Delhi on November 6th, 2011.
We are looking forward to have active participation from the students of your institution. Along with this competition, we would like to remember and celebrate the golden period of music when legends such as Kishore Kumar, Manna Dey, Mohammad Rafi, Geeta Dutt, Jagjit Singh, Anup Jalota had given us legendary hits to cherish forever. Thus, we would like to spend the evening of November 3, 2011 remembering those evergreen hits. Singers who are interested to participate in this segment are also requested to give names for audition. This competition is open to all and the best singers would be awarded cash prizes along with Certificate of Participation. Also, the first three winners of the evening would get a chance to perform during Surtarang Competition on November 4-5, 2011. We again invite you on both the occasions on November 3, 2011 and that on November 4-5, 2011.
